Wyndham families came together on Sunday 26 October 2025 to celebrate Children’s Week Picnic. Hosted by Wyndham City, the much-loved free community event was held at the scenic Wyndham Park in the heart of Werribee. Attendees embraced the rainy weather with enthusiasm, and the spirit of the day remained high. Families had a wonderful time, proving that a little rain couldn’t dampen the joy and community spirit of the event.
The stage program was a major highlight, featuring a diverse line-up of performers that reflected Wyndham’s cultural richness and commitment to inclusive family fun. DJ Be Kind to Other People hosted the day with warmth and positivity, while performances from the Hong De Lion & Dragon Dance Association, One Spirit Africa Drumming, Trash Test Dummies, Mr Woody’s Bush Cabaret, Tama Tatau, and headline act Zindzi & The Zillionaires, Mel the Marvelous Contortionist, Mad Science Mayhem who all kept the crowd entertained from start to finish.
Each act brought something unique to the stage, from cultural storytelling to high-energy music and comedy.
The Wonder Lawn was a new feature this year, designed to spark curiosity and creativity it featured the high-energy fun of Bebop Circus, the jaw-dropping experiments of Mad Science Mayhem, and the stories and surprises of Wyndham City’s Library Van providing a dedicated space for children to play, discover, and imagine.
