The African Australian Network (AAN) is a dynamic community organization established in 2010 to empower, celebrate, and support African Australians. Dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and promoting cultural diversity, AAN provides a platform for connection, resource access, and advocacy.

Through a range of initiatives including events, workshops, and advocacy campaigns, AAN actively engages in building inclusive communities and advocating for the rights and needs of African Australians. With a commitment to empowerment and collaboration, AAN continues to play a pivotal role in advancing social cohesion and equitable opportunities for African Australians across Australia.

We aim to bridge the cultural gap, foster understanding, and amplify the voices of African Australians, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to succeed, flourish, and contribute positively to the broader Australian community.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia.
