Life of a True Crime Writer

True crime author and podcaster, Vikki Petraitis has written on a huge range of cases from the Frankston serial killer, the Phillip Island murder mystery, and Lawyer X. Her podcasts with Casefile Presents have been downloaded millions of times and topped charts around the world.

Vikki will talk about investigating the big stories and give the audience a glimpse into the world of the investigative writer. She will also explore how podcasts are altering the landscape of true crime and the part they play in bringing about change.  

About Vikki:

Ever since she was a small child, Vikki dreamed of being a writer. One of her favourite things is when people tell her how her books have changed their life or influenced their career choice. There’s more than one cop, forensic psychologist, podcaster, or investigator whose journey began with opening one of Vikki’s books.
