Litter Blitz - Williams Landing

Wyndham City in partnership with Wyndham Litter Warriors will be running a Litter Blitz around Williams Landing starting from southern section of Beehive Drive, Williams Landing.

On the day, council departments including Waste Education, Local Laws Officers, Emergency Management Officers and Litter Cleansing Officers will be patrolling the area to identify and deal with issues relating to waste management, local laws, and other amenity issues. The Litter Blitz is one way we are helping to prevent litter and dumped rubbish in the municipality to keep Wyndham Clean, Green and presentable.

Issues such as dumped rubbish on nature strips, broken bins, overflowing bins or bins being left out 24/7 will be targeted on the day along with other issues that will be followed up on after the event.

Residents are asked to ensure they are responsibly managing their waste, bins, and properties and if there are any questions regarding these matters to please contact Council via wastewise@wyndham.vic.gov.au or 1300 023 411.

Please note this is not a hard waste collection, if you require a hard waste collection you can book one via www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/bookhardwaste.

We also invite the community to come along and help clean up the area, chat with staff around waste management and learn about the best ways to dispose of waste and recycling.
