PRIVACY STATEMENT

Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council for the purpose of administering your Expression of Interest (EOI). Any information you submit as part of your EOI will be processed by Council in accordance with the project Terms and Conditions. Your personal information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for the delivery of services and information. You can access or amend your personal information at any time by writing to mail@wyndham.vic.gov.au. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). By submitting an expression of interest to become the guest artist for the project Wyndham City Council (‘Council’) and Kids Own Publishing, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with other documents and information relating to the project, including your EOI form and the information made available on Council’s website.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

    To be eligible to submit an EOI, you must be a Wyndham resident aged 18 years or older.  Council staff, Councillors, Kids Own Publishing staff, their immediate family members, and immediate family members of Ailsa Wild are ineligible to apply.\
     

  2. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

    2.1 EOIs must be submitted between 12:00pm on 19 July 2024 and 9:00am on 8 August 2024 via https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/form/expressions-of-interest-for-kids.  EOIs which are incomplete or received outside of this period will not be accepted.

    2.2 You agree to immediately notify Council of any changes to your EOI, including the request to withdraw your EOI by emailing arts@wyndham.vic.gov.au

    2.3 Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt EOIs.
     

  3. ASSESSMENT OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTERESTS

    3.1 EOIs will be assessed by two Council officers and two Kids Own Publishing employees Monday 12 August 2024 in accordance with its evaluation criteriaOne applicant will be selected and invited to be the guest artist for the project.

    3.2 All applicants will be contacted by email no later than Thursday 15 August and advised of the outcome of their application.
     

  4. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

    4.1 To accept the invitation to become the guest artist, the successful applicant:

    a. will be required to enter into an agreement with Kids Own Publishing; and
    b. must provide evidence of their current Working with Children Check to Council and Kids Own Publishing.

    4.2 The successful applicant must be available to attend all project activities and events.

    4.3 The successful applicant agrees to participate in any project evaluations as required by Council.
     

  5. NO RELATIONSHIP

    Nothing in these terms and conditions or the conduct of Council and you creates a relationship of agency, partnership, employer and employee or joint venture between you and Council.
     

  6. GENERAL

    6.1 Council reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time and without notice to you.

    6.2 Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
