Embodied Psychology is based in Laverton, Melbourne, supporting clients in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, and via telehealth clients located in Victoria and Australia wide and is operated by principal psychologist Dr Joanne Thorburn and her team of clinicians.
Joanne is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive knowledge and experience in assisting clients from a variety of backgrounds including rural and remote clients, people living with a medical condition or disability, clients from Indigenous and diverse cultural backgrounds, professional athletes and members of the LGBTQIA community.
She has experience working in different settings including educational, inpatient rehabilitation and pain clinics, tertiary, correctional, not-for-profit organisations, disability (most notably with respect to people living with Autism Spectrum Disorders) and carers.
Joanne and her team are passionate about empowering and supporting all our clients to achieve positive change and growth.
