Active Holidays - Little Athletics (5 to 16 years)

Do your kids love running, jumping and throwing? Do they have energy to burn? Athletics is a great sport for all abilities, allowing kids to develop their foundation movement skills.

Werribee Little Athletics Centre are inviting 5 to 16 year olds to try out up to 2 sessions for free. Kids will try different running, jumping and throwing events. Sessions run weekly as relaxed competitions, kids try the activities in their age groups and will receive a time or a distance or height measurement. Each weekly competition will have different running, jumping and throwing activities. If kids decide that they would like to join for the season then they will get the chance to repeat the different activities over the season and aim to improve. Kids love to see their progress and count how many Personal Bests they can achieve!

Werribee Little Athletics Centre runs weekly on Saturdays at 8am over the Summer season, except for some holiday date changes - please check the season calendar.

The first three sessions run:

• Saturday 21 September at 8am
• Friday 27 September at 5pm
• Saturday 5 October at 8am 

Season membership is $180 per child, with discounts for families with multiple children.

To join these sessions please complete the Little Athletics Victoria Trial Athlete registration this allows you to trial up to 2 sessions for free and to be insured. - Registrations open late August.

Wyndham Active Holidays is being run in partnership between Wyndham City Council and local community organisations. This session is a partnership with Werribee Little Athletics Centre.
