GenWest is a family violence support service. They also deliver programs that support communities to lead safe and healthy lives. They work to support the diverse communities of Naarm / Melbourne’s west.
GenWest provides services and support to people who are experiencing family violence. They provide family violence support, crisis support and case management, as well as services that promote healing and recovery, such as youth and children’s counselling.
GenWest deliver programs that improve health and wellbeing and promote gender equity among communities. They work with communities in Melbourne's west to deliver programs that are responsive to emerging health and wellbeing priorities. They broadly focus on three priority areas: prevention of violence, mental health and wellbeing, and sexual and reproductive health.
GenWest work collaboratively with communities, government and local agencies, and provide secondary consultation for health, community and other service providers. They also partner with other organisations to advocate for equal rights and the prevention of family violence.
