Cr Singh was elected to Council for the first time in November, 2024. A long-term Wyndham resident, he has called Wyndham home for the past 20 years.
Cr Singh is passionate about enhancing public safety and reducing crime, matching infrastructure to the demands of a growing population, supporting local businesses, improving public transport and accessibility, sustainable development and green initiatives and transparent and responsive local government.
Cr Singh is passionate about community safety and will advocate for additional police resources in Wyndham and other initiatives to help make people feel safe in our community.
Away from Council, he runs a local solar installation business.
A total of 30.6 per cent of the Bemin Ward population live and work in Wyndham, while 69.4 per cent are employed outside of Wyndham – the highest percentage of all Wards in Wyndham.

Bemin Ward
Bemin Ward includes parts of Truganina and Laverton North. It is bounded by Skeleton Creek, Sayers Road, Old Geelong Road and Boundary Road. It covers an area of 39.6 square kilometres. As of July, 2023, it had 16,356 registered electors.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, it has a population of 28,554, of which 18,749 – or 65 per cent – were born overseas. The top five countries of foreign birth are India, Philippines, New Zealand, Pakistan and China. A total of 77 per cent speak a language other than English.
