The Community and Friendly Visiting programs operate throughout Victoria and provide companionship to aged and disabled people living in their own home or an Aged care residential facility, bringing them into contact with a volunteer who shares their language, cultural background and interests.

Wherever possible the skills and interests of volunteers are matched with clients to enjoy such as:

Having a chat over a cup of coffee
Reading books and magazines
Taking up a hobby such as arts and crafts
Playing games
Listening to music
