Wyndham City's Annual Report 2020/21

The Annual Report is a legislative requirement which outlines the Council’s achievements, challenges, and financial performance for the financial year, 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. It also informs the community about the extent to which the commitments in the City Plan 2017-21 and Annual Plan and Budget 2020/21 were delivered. Performance reporting through the Annual Report is essential for ensuring transparency and accountability as to how public money is spent and the quality of services delivered.

The Annual Report also includes:

audited financial and performance statements
an overview of Council’s work and delivery over the year, with highlights of key projects, initiatives and its performance
information about the organisation, its elected Councillors, and a summary of how Council performed against the Local Government Performance Reporting Framework (LGPRF) indicators
the required governance and statutory information

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
