Mambourin Werribee was established in 1982 to provide a wide range of adult training and recreational programs for people with a disability.
Mambourin Werribee is user friendly and provides easy access for people with mobility impairments. Situated 2 kilometres from Werribee and 2 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop, the centre offers easy access to the local shopping centre and services.
One of the main features of the centre is that it shares a site with the Mambourin Sensory Garden. There are several attractions of the sensory garden which is built on 2 acres of land, these include the large ponds, herb, and flower beds, picnic and barbecue facilities. The surroundings are inviting and create a relaxed atmosphere for clients, staff and visitors alike.
Mambourin Werribee’s activities vary to meet a wide range of individual needs and interests and support individuals to achieve independence and enhance life opportunities.
