Inviting people with disabilities and people from multicultural communities to join in a Water and beach safety session to increase their water safety skills and confidence.

What is beach education?

Beach education introduces people aged 5 years and over to lifesaving. It allows children, teens and adults to join in safe and controlled activities on the beach. These sessions are for all levels of experience and skill, and focus on fun and education in a positive environment. This session will give participants a taste of what lifesaving is all about and help participants to understand how to be safe at the beach. Participants do not need to be able to swim.
