Summer Park Play in Tarneit

Baden Powell Reserve in Tarneit comes alive this January school holidays with a variety of free activities for young people and families to enjoy.

• When: 10:30am to 1pm, Tuesday 14 January 2025
• Where: Baden Powell Drive Reserve, Tarneit

Free activities include:

• Bicycle Mechanic inspecting and repair your bikes - drop your bikes off anytime.
• Drop-in sports with Reclink Australia - young people can come along and play basketball and soccer anytime.
• Wyndham Pop-Up Library with books and more to borrow from.
• Free BBQ run by Wyndham Youth Services.
• Learn to Skateboard sessions for young people 8 years and older - registrations required - open 7 days before.
  • Session 1: 10:30 to 11:30am
  • Session 2: 11:30am to 12:30pm

Come down anytime between 10:30am to 1pm - only the Learn to Skateboard sessions require registrations beforehand.

Wyndham Active Holidays is being run in partnership between Wyndham City Council and local community organisations. This session is a partnership with Reclink Australia, Victorian Skateboarding Association and Supatan Bike Co.

The Active Wyndham Calendar aims to help more Wyndham residents to find physical activities that they enjoy. This session is part of the Active Holidays program, see the timetable here: www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/activeholidays.
