Calling all Green Explorers! Join us for a walk along the Werribee River this summer holidays and try your hand at bird watching!

Werribee River is home to a huge variety of birds that rely on both the trees, and the river for habitat.

During this walk Green Explorers will be able to have a go at using binoculars, learn what features to look for when identifying birds, and tick off the birds they see from the bird watching check list. There is always something happening on the river so who knows what else we will discover! This walk is best suited to kids aged 5-10 years.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. We will walk a maximum of 1.5km distance on a shared path, wheelchair accessible.
All Explorers should bring a hat, water bottle, and sunscreen.

Meet on the river near the outdoor pool in Chirnside Park, Werribee.
