Kids in Nature

Have you ever looked at a cool plant and wondered, "How does it grow like that?" Or spotted an interesting insect but couldn't remember what it looked like later? Why not try nature journaling?

Spend the morning with the Green Explorers and get creative in nature. We will go on a short sensory walk, do some fun warm-up drawing exercises, then learn how to start a nature journal. Let's explore our local park and see what weird and wonderful things we can record in our journals!

This workshop is suited for children 5-10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
*Please meet underneath the orange pedestrian bridge in Wyndham Park.

What to bring:
Sketch book or paper to draw on,
Crayons or pencils to draw with
Hat, sunscreen, and water bottle.
