Do you want to get more out of your garden? It all comes down to what lies beneath – soil!
Whether you are a growing a habitat garden or hoping for a productive veggie patch, all plants rely on healthy soils to get what they need. In this session, Craig will explain not only how to achieve thriving soils, but why they are so important for plant health, and human health too.
Craig Castree has over 45 years of experience growing food and is a regular guest on the popular show Vasili's Garden. His recent book "Soil, Not A Dirty Word” shares urgent insights into the relationships between plants and the microscopic worlds of bacteria and fungi that live in the soil. With his regenerative approach that reduces reliance on chemical inputs, Craig’s strategies will empower you to understand soils – for the good of people and the planet.
