Wyndham City’s free Australia Day in Wyndham program is coming to Tarneit.
This year our family-friendly Australia Day in Wyndham will take place in Penrose Place.
Pack your picnic blanket and enjoy a day of family entertainment with live music, kids’ activities, roving performers and more from 10am – 2pm on Sunday 26 January 2025.
The stage program will feature a fantastic line up of family entertainment and global beats with much-loved children’s band The Mik Maks, funky 60s sounds from The Soul Movers (including original red Wiggle Murray Cook), Bollywood dancing with NB Dance, high energy beats from One Spirit Africa and ukulele fun with Woody’s World.
Out on the lawn, enjoy free face painting, craft activities and roving entertainment including the incredible Bubble Brothers, Dreamy the Dream Bear, fantastical aeronauts, hula hooping with Circus Lab and brass band Ballahornication.
Grab a bite to eat from the onsite food trucks or bring along your own picnic and enjoy a great day of entertainment.
Australia Day in Wyndham is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event.
The program will also include the presentation of the 2025 Wyndham Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year Awards – recognising the outstanding service of community members who make Wyndham a better place.
Any event or weather updates will be shared via this page, www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/australiaday and Wyndham City’s Facebook page.
Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
