Our Library IT services include Public Access Computers, Printing, Photocopying and IT help and training. If you would like more information about each of these services please check out the information below.
Book a PC from home! Use your library card number and pin to book a PC at any branch up to 7 days in advance.
Upload your printing from home. Upload your printing and collect it within 24 hours from your preferred branch. More info at Printing at the Library

Printing and photocopying
Charges:
- Black and White A4 - 30 cents
- Black and White A3 - 50 cents
- Colour A4 - $1.10
- Colour A3 - $2.20
- Black and White A4 doubled sided – 30 cents per side
Scanning is free.
You can upload printing from home, or from your own device; see Printing at the Library for more information.
You can print from the library PCs, and you can photocopy existing documents. Ask a member of staff for more information when you visit the library.
Tablets
Wyndham Library members can use tablets (Hublets) for free at Hoppers Crossing Library and at Truganina Library Lounge. These tablets can be used to access digital content including our eResources and eLearning websites. To use the tablets you require your library ID and PIN (or password).
Tablets are loanable from opening until 1 hour prior to closing and are available for one hour sessions. At the end of your session you will be required to return the tablet back to the docking station.

Computers
Wyndham Library members can use computers for free at each of the Wyndham Library branches. To log in to a computer you will require your library ID and PIN (or password). To use the library computers you must abide by the library computer use policy.
Computers in the library are available until 15 minutes before closing time, to allow patrons to finish their tasks before the library closes.

Public WiFi is available at all of our branches.
No password is necessary - find the wifi network called "Wyndham City Libraries" and join it. Before you can use it, you will have to agree to the terms and conditions. If you have any trouble connecting to the wifi, please contact a member of staff.
IT Help
Do you need some focused support with computers or technology? Free digital training is available.
Book a IT help session, and our friendly staff will help you.
Help available includes:
- Searching the internet
- Using email
- Accessing the online library
- Setting up a MyGov account, and accessing your vaccine status
- Connecting online with social media
- Connecting with online video calls
We can help with PCs, Macs, and all kinds of phones and tablets. Help can be provided on your own device, through one of the library’s computers, or even remotely and over the phone.
Wifi and internet usage terms
Wyndham City Libraries Acceptable Usage Policy for WiFi access.
Internet users must abide by the following policies and guidelines and the library reserves the right to terminate the Internet access privileges and / or the borrowing privileges of any person abusing these policies.
- Users are responsible for abiding by copyright and all other applicable Federal, State and Local laws, and library policies and regulations.
- The library is a public place and Internet use must meet general community standards.
- Users must not access illegal, inappropriate or offensive material.
In using Wyndham City Libraries wireless service, you agree to the following access conditions:
- The Library cannot be responsible for any changes you make to your computer's settings and recommends you make a note of any settings before you change them.
- The library's wireless network is not connected to the Library's public printers. To print from your own device consult https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/printing
- The library's wireless network provides for web browsing. Restrictions apply to certain file types and download sizes.
- The service may automatically disconnect your device if not used for 30 minutes.
- Anti-virus, security and privacy protection is the responsibility of the user.
- Under no circumstances shall the Wyndham City Libraries, nor individual library staff members, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of data, use, or profits, or interruption, or safety of equipment, however caused and on any theory of liability including negligence or otherwise, arising in any way out of the use of the wireless network, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

Creating a MyGov account
BeConnected course: How to sign up to MyGov
With a myGov account you can link any of your online accounts with one username and password. This includes Centrelink, Vaccine certification, Medicare and Child Support.

Be Connected: Free online safety presentations
These free webinars are hosted by the Federal Government's eSafety Commissioner to help keep Australians safe online. They cover topics like how to spot a scam, saying safe on Facebook and using public wifi.
Your Online Journey
This app can help take the mystery out of getting online and guide you to help stay safe on the internet. It's specifically aimed at adults in Indigenous communities, and it's written and published by the Federal Government.

You can find information on different kinds of scams and how to protect yourself from them on Scamwatch, which is published by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
