At Wyndham City we celebrate and embrace Wyndham’s diverse population.
Did you know that 48 per cent of Wyndham residents were born overseas, and nearly 50 per cent speak a language other than English?
Help us celebrate our diversity and challenge your perspectives during Cultural Diversity Week (17 - 23 March 2025) – Victoria’s largest multicultural celebration!
Cultural Diversity Week: 'Embrace the Journey, Shape Our Future’ highlights the unique and shared cultural journeys that define our diverse communities, encouraging us to honour our own cultural stories and those of others, fostering understanding, belonging and connection.

Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
