ART is FOOD for the SOUL with mentor Yandell Walton
Presented by Wyndham City and Hobsons Bay

ART is FOOD for the SOUL  showcases artworks created by participants of the Wunder Gym program and is a partnership between Hobsons Bay and Wyndham City Councils.

Under the mentorship of Walton and Wunder Gym founder, Annette Wagner, participants will explore how art and food can uncover new perspectives and build empathy. Let their art inspire collective consciousness and action towards a more sustainable future, blurring the lines between reality and the virtual, and addressing pressing social and environmental issues.

Participants of ART is FOOD for the SOUL  have been challenged  to merge the worlds of art and cuisine, crafting pieces that evoke the senses and stimulate the mind. Guided by Yandell Walton's visionary approach, delve into themes of impermanence, ecological impact, and our connection to the land.

The outcome will be shown at a multi-site temporary public art exhibition across Hobsons Bay during the Melbourne Fringe Festival program (1 – 20 October 2024).
