For the past 11 years, we have been proudly teaching the Telugu Language through the Aksharajyothi Telugu Badi, an initiative by the Telugu Association of Australia (TAAI). This program serves children aged 5 to 16 across six different locations in Victoria.
Our curriculum, thoughtfully designed by dedicated and passionate volunteers, aligns with the Victorian Curriculum of Education (VCE) to ensure a structured and high-quality learning experience. Currently, we are delighted to have approximately 450 students enrolled, supported by a team of 47 volunteer teachers who are committed to nurturing and promoting the Telugu language.
We warmly invite members of the Telugu community to join us in this meaningful journey. By volunteering to enroll your child / children, support / teach Telugu, you can play a vital role in preserving our beautiful mother tongue and passing on its richness to the next generation. Together, let’s ensure our children not only learn the language but also connect deeply with our vibrant culture and heritage.
