Financial Education Training on Budgets & Scams for CALD Women by the Brotherhood of St Laurence

Managing money isn’t always easy and rising costs make it even harder to stay on top of things, but you don’t have to do it alone!

The Building your Budget with KASH workshop helps develop the knowledge, skills, and habits to create manageable budgets that works for you.

The workshop also helps people learn about:
- What financial wellbeing is and tools that help
- Different attitudes towards money
- How to set spending priorities
- How to set savings goals with a budget

In the Protecting Yourself from Scams workshop, you can learn what scams are, how to spot them, protect yourself, understand your rights, and recognise common scams (created in collaboration with ANZ)
The workshop also helps people learn about:
- A range of different scams and how to recognise them
- Tips that can reduce your chances of falling victim to a scam
- Work through examples together

Hosted at the Wyndham City and run by Brotherhood of St Laurence at Civic Centre.
