Wyndham City is hosting an E-Waste & Vape Drop-Off Day to provide residents with a safe and responsible way to dispose of electronic waste, including vapes.
Date: Saturday, 14 June 2025
Location: Truganina Community Centre (carpark)
Time: 10am – 1pm
E-waste includes anything powered by batteries or that plugs into an electric outlet.
✅ Items accepted:
- Televisions
- Charges
- Mobile phones / tablets / laptops
- Computers, monitors / printers
- Kitchen appliances e.g. toaster, microwave
- Cameras
- Radios / CD players
- Vapes and e-cigarettes (must be empty)
Not Accepted: Large electronic waste e.g. whitegoods
Why Participate?
- Lithium-ion batteries in vapes and e-waste pose a fire hazard if placed in regular bins.
- By recycling e-waste correctly, we can prevent these hazards and recover valuable materials that would otherwise go to waste.
