Wesley Mission Aged Care Services support people to get back to the things they love. Our social Support programs provide opportunities for people to enjoy the company of others in the comfort of their own home, or out in the local community.

Wesley provides a range of social support programs across Melbourne, aiming to enhance social connections, independence and wellbeing. Programs are available to eligible people aged 65 and over, adults with a disability, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over.

Could you support someone to get back to the things they love?

Social Support volunteers engage with and support older people and adults with a disability to participate in their chosen social activities. This may include providing transport to movie or lunch groups, supporting individual clients though engaging in conversation and outings in the community.

There are also opportunities for volunteer to support people at our planned activity groups assisting with meal preparation and general activities or through facilitating one of our telephone linking programs. Call us to find out more on 13 93 75.
