Privacy Collection Statement

Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council to enable you to request a ‘Love Your Local’ shopfront decal. Your details will be stored and used by Council to identify you when responding to any enquiries in relation to this request. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).   1. These terms and conditions apply to requests for a ‘Love Your Local’ shopfront decal from Wyndham City Council (‘Council’). By submitting a request, the business agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  1. To be eligible to request a decal, the business must have a current and active ABN and have a shopfront within, the Wyndham municipality.
  1. To request a decal, the business must submit a properly completed form via Council’s website from 9:00am on 20 November 2024. Requests which are incomplete will not be valid and will not be accepted.
  1. Council will provide a decals to the first 100 businesses who submit a valid request form and who are deemed appropriate businesses to display a decal in their shopfront.  Council, acting in its absolute discretion, may determine not to provide a business with a decal for their shopfront.
  1. Only one request per shopfront will be accepted.
  1. The business acknowledges and agrees that if it receives a decal to display:

    (a) it will be posted to their postal address as provided in their request form;
    (b) it is responsible for installing the decal in accordance with the directions provided by Council; and
    (c) must remove the decal from its shopfront on Council’s request.

  1. Nothing in these terms and conditions nor in the conduct of Council and the business creates a relationship of agency, partnership, employer and employee or joint venture between the parties.
  1. Council accepts no responsibility for any lost, corrupt, incomplete or invalid requests or lost or damaged decals.
  1. Council reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice to you.
