Wyndham Stadium Precinct

The Wyndham Stadium Precinct is a landmark public-private partnership between Wyndham City, Western Melbourne Group and a consortium of investors to transform a previously undeveloped 63-hectare site along Sayers Road in Tarneit into a world-class sport, entertainment, business and residential precinct.

The project will deliver:

  • The state-of-the-art Ironbark Fields and Ironbark Pavilion that features three pitches, a two-storey pavilion and capacity for 5,000 spectators (see video below)
  • A 15,000-capacity soccer stadium which will become the official home ground of the Western United Football Club.
  • An 800-lot residential community including community facilities, parkland, wetlands and open spaces
  • Commercial and mixed-Use development and employment opportunities including accommodation, entertainment, hospitality, indoor sports, education and medical services

This project will be delivered in stages, with the first stage being the completed construction of Ironbark Fields and Ironbark Pavilion. This facility will serve as a match-day venue for both Liberty A-League Women matches and Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches from March 2024 until the stadium is built.

The precinct will deliver major sporting and social infrastructure for Wyndham’s rapidly growing community, putting the city on the global stage and attracting major economic investment, employment and community development opportunities.
