Tarneit Kite Festival

It was a truly magical sight to see the sky dancing with colourful kites on Sunday 11 February 2024 at the Tarneit Kite Festival. From huge display kites, to enthusiastic recreational flyers and first time flyers – kites could be seen all the way from neighbouring suburbs.

A huge thank you to all of those that braved the heat in Tarneit to enjoy everything on offer.

Events like these thrive on the collaboration and contribution of the community. The day would not have been possible without the support of local businesses and the dedication and insight of local Tarneit community members.

The Tarneit Kite Festival is just one of the many wonderful events that are part of the Meet me in Tarneit series, delivered by Wyndham City in partnership with the Victorian Government and the Tarneit Suburban Revitalisation Board.
