Werribee City Centre will be buzzing with fun, laughter and energy as a free public interactive experience, SWING, by artist Ian Pidd, brings Station Place alive from Saturday 5 to 11 April 2025 between 10.30am and 5pm daily.

Opening on the start of the Autumn school holidays, SWING is set to activate Station Place, inviting both locals and visitors to linger, explore, and discover Werribee City Centre.

Originally commissioned by the City of Melbourne and the Naomi Milgrom Foundation, SWING has captivated audiences at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and Mental Health Month in Adelaide.

Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Mia Shaw, said: “Come along and be immersed by the towering bright yellow SWING against the urban retail backdrop.”

“SWING is more than just an interactive artwork — it’s an experience that inspires wonder, captures your childhood imagination and encourages playfulness!”

“Whether you’re re-living childhood memories or making new memories.”

SWING is designed for ages nine years-plus (minimum height: 120cm) and is wheelchair accessible so users can enjoy a fun and exciting ride. And for our youngest visitors, a specially designed swing nearby promises just as much fun!

Whether you’re soaring through the air or simply soaking in the spectacle, SWING will be sure to entertain and delight everyone.

Enjoy the day by exploring the local shops, get a bite to eat and experience the fun of SWING.
