We’re calling Wyndham Schools to get creative and help spread the important message about the dangers of plastic pollution for our community and environment. World Environment Day is a global initiative that encourages positive environmental change, and for 2025, the theme is "Ending Plastic Pollution."
If you are a Wyndham School and have a creative group of Primary (Grade Prep-6)or Secondary School (Year7-12) students who have passion raising awareness about the impact of plastic pollution, we’d love for you to participate in this special competition for your chance to win GREAT PRIZES!
Students are invited to create and submit a sculpture made entirely from made entirely from litter, found objects or repurposed materials like packaging. Sculptures will be open for public viewing as part of a pop-up Student Environmental Sculpture Gallery at the Wyndham City Council Civic Centre (45 Princes Hwy, Werribee, 3030), where they will help highlight the urgency of addressing plastic pollution.
