Wyndham City is thrilled to be hosting the free Wyndham Volunteer Expo on Saturday, 3 May between 10am to 2pm at Encore Events Centre.

The Wyndham Volunteer Expo will feature a range of volunteer-involving organisations with up to fifty volunteer organisations attending.

There will be people on hand from community groups and organisations to provide information, answer questions and have a chat about volunteer roles that are available.

Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Mia Shaw, said: “Wyndham City is encouraging anyone who has considered volunteering to come along to the Wyndham Volunteer Expo and explore the volunteer opportunities that are available in your local community.”

“Come and meet community groups and not-for-profit organisations who need your help.”

“Volunteering has many benefits and is a great way to get involved in the local community, make a difference, learn new skills, build social networks and can be a pathway to employment.”

“Volunteering brings people together, builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.”

This Wyndham City event is free. Come anytime on Saturday 3 May between 10am and 2pm and find out how you can make a difference.
