The Werribee South Boat Ramp is getting a makeover, with a series of enhancements on the horizon.

This project will improve safety and enhance access and functionality for boaters at the Werribee South Boat Ramp, particularly during peak periods.

These works are being jointly funded by Wyndham City and Better Boating Victoria through a structural maintenance grant and will be delivered across two stages:

Stage one - underway

Updated car park line marking
Installation of reflective road markers

Stage two – commencing late October 2023

Repairing pontoons and gangways
Upgraded car park signage

It should be noted that this project is different to the Werribee South Boat Ramp upgrade, being developed by Better Boating Victoria. This future upgrade will include the addition of a ramp lane, extended and realigned pontoons as well as an additional pontoon, as well as providing for all abilities access. There will also be improvements within carparking to improve traffic flow.
