Thursday, 24th October; 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. – Launch of Karen Mortar and Pestle Sculpture & Sticky Rice Tasting
Celebrate the launch of the Karen Mortar and Pestle Project, a traditional foot-powered sculpture created by the Karen community of Myanmar. Experience the unique process of preparing sticky rice using the mortar and pestle, and hear directly from the community about the cultural significance of their project. No registration required.
Both events will be held at the Wyndham Park Community Shed, 57 Kookaburra Avenue, Werribee.
