What to expect
Volunteers can experience and develop hands-on skills in grafting, pruning, tree planting, fruit picking and tasting, and nursery and orchard maintenance. Short workshops are regularly held where volunteers have an opportunity to learn about a specific topic and ask questions.
Where to meet
We meet the first Sunday of each month (excluding January) at the Implement Shed commencing 9:30 and concluding around 12:30.
What to bring
- Secateurs, garden gloves, metho spray (spray bottle with 30% water and 70% methylated spirits to clean secateurs), closed shoes, safety glasses.
- Remember a hat, drink bottle, sunscreen, and mozzie repellent.
- We recommend wearing long pants and a long sleeve top.

How to get there
- Enter via Gate 5 – off K Road, Werribee.
- Turn into the first gate on your left (opposite Shadowfax Winery).
- Drive alongside the side of Chirnside Polo Field, following the road to the end - this is the parking area.
