Easter Holiday Fashion Design and Upcycle Program

This Easter school holiday program at Wyndham Park Community Centre is offering local tweens and teenagers the chance to learn valuable life skills while embracing sustainability. The "Upcycle Your Old Clothes" workshop, led by Sarah from Pat and Jean’s Place to empower participants to transform their old, unused garments into stylish, trendy outfits with draping, embellishment in hand sewing and using the sewing machines

Fashion Forward, Eco-Friendly, and Totally YOU!

At the twice a month Saturday workshops we:
-learn how to look at trends and create our own fashion designs.
-use pre-loved clothes or end of stock production to create new outfits, or adjust and add embellishments.
If clothes aren't your thing we can make bags or hats, hair accessories or even cute bows and bandanas for the dog. We will also run a clothes swap so be sure to bring 3 to 5 clean pieces of clothing to exchange.
