The Leakes Road Duplication Project involves expanding Leakes Road to two lanes in each direction between Tarneit Road and Derrimut Road, installing traffic signals at the intersection of Penrose Promenade and Crossway Avenue, and upgrading and enhancing pathways to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists.

This project is projected to be delivered by mid-2026.
