Wyndham City will be undertaking a comprehensive reconstruction of Bulban Road (Windmill) from Ison Road to Edgars Road.
These works will improve road safety for drivers, make the road smoother and provide an overall more enjoyable journey in this growth area.
Planning is underway on an upgrade of Dohertys Road between Derrimut Road and Morris Road in Tarneit.
The Ison Road Extension project will enhance transportation infrastructure in the Wyndham West community by constructing a new four-lane carriageway between Browns Road and the Princes Highway (Geelong Rd).
The project will see a 2.8-kilometre stretch of K Road, between Duncans Road and 350 K Road (Golf Course Driveway) completely rebuilt with a sealed shoulder to make the road smoother, improving road safety for drivers and providing an overall more enjoyable journey.
Wyndham Council has allocated funding to upgrade McLeans Rd, Old Melbourne Rd and Rothwell Rd in Little River. These are significant projects, and we expected the work to take place across a number of years, starting with Melbourne Rd.
Improving local roads is one of the key priorities of the 2024/25 Council budget, and over the coming year Wyndham City will invest $8.5 million to rebuild local roads throughout the municipality.
