Wyndham City and University of Melbourne are measuring the temperature of our parks and surrounding areas. The information will be used to better design parks in the future, select the most suitable trees and vegetation to plant and best methods for watering with the aim of making our City cooler. The study will run until the end of summer with use of temperature sensors in white weather shields.
